We use the same research process for every guide so readers can see how a recommendation was reached. Unless an article states that we tested a product ourselves, our guides are research-based and we do not claim hands-on testing.
What we look at
- Track and rollers. SL or L track length, roller type and how well the stated coverage fits different heights.
- Techniques and programs. Kneading, shiatsu, tapping, air compression and the automatic programs offered.
- Heat and extras. Lumbar and foot heat, zero gravity recline, stretch modes and Bluetooth speakers.
- Size and footprint. Dimensions, wall clearance, weight and delivery or assembly requirements.
- Warranty and service. Stated coverage for parts, labor and the motor, and what owners report.
- Value. What the product offers for its price tier. We do not show prices because they change often; check Amazon for current details.

We draw on manufacturer specification sheets and manuals, published reviews, buyer feedback and community discussion.
